Leolah Brown points the finger at Houston's friend
Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah Brown, has blamed Whitney Houston's friend, Ray J, for the singer's death.
Earlier this week, The Los Angeles County coroner's office revealed that Whitney Houston's death was the result of drowning combined with heart disease and cocaine abuse.
But on hearing the results of the inquest, Leolah Brown, blamed Houston's longtime friend and companion, Ray J, on the Dr. Drew show. She claimed that she had seen singer Ray J fleeing Hoston's hotel room on the night she was found dead in a bathtub in February, telling Dr Drew: "I saw Ray J coming out of the hotel, hiding his head, being pushed into a car."
She added:
Why? I looked and I said, 'why is he hiding his face? He's always trying to show his face around Whitney. Why now? Why are you tring to hide Ray J.Earlier this month, details of Whitney Houston's will were filed. Papers relating to her inheritance were unveiled in Atlanta on March 7, with the late singer leaving everything to her only child, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her daughter, whose father is ex-husband Bobby Brown, will receive part of her inheritance after she turns 21, before receiving further payments at the age of 25 and 30, according to papers obtained by The Insider.
Houston's trustees, which include her sister-in-law Donna and brother Michael, can give her daughter money for various purposes, including tuition, to buy a house or to start a business. Her sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, has been appointed administrator of the estate and her mother Cissy named as executor of the will. It was signed by the late singer on February 3, 1993, about a month before she gave birth to her daughter.
Whitney Houston died on February 11 at the age of 48, after she was discovered underwater and unconscious in a bath in a hotel in Beverly Hills.
